Hello there! We are Ciara and Andrew
Funtivity Play Village is a family run role play centre by husband and wife team plus their little apprentice who arrived in March 2024!
We really wanted a space where children could explore and learn through their play. We've worked with children in different settings so know first hand how important these early stages are in their early development.
Our role play areas help children practice their fine motor skills development, their language and communication skills. Build on their creativity and imagination all while having fun!
We wanted to create a fun, safe, space where the whole play area could be seen from the comfort of the parent's view.
After visiting soft play areas with my sister and her young children, we found it difficult in those huge spaces to keep a safe eye on the children. They would run off in separate directions, leaving us with this constant worry about where they were, and also their safety around older children.
We wanted to give parents the choice to play and interact with their child but also allow children the time to enjoy playing by themselves. We know how important it is for parents to get a break but also have the chance to have a needed break, catch up with friends and finish a conversation in full!
We know how tricky it can be when you have children at different age stages and trying to keep both entertained. After taking my 3 year old niece and 10 month old nephew out, we realised how important it was to have a dedicated baby area. That is why Funtivity Play Village has a dedicated baby area. Ensuring that there is something to keep everybody entertained and safe.
